Cassiopea. The Star soul

Cassiopea (The Star Soul) is an original photo project conceived and created by Ekaterina Desiatova.
The project was inspired by the idea of neutrinos—elusive elementary particles born within stars that travel across the universe, passing through everything around us, including our own bodies. This scientific phenomenon became the starting point for the reflection on humanity’s connection to the cosmos.

The figure before the viewer is not a character but a Soul.

She gazes with quiet certainty, fully aware of her nature and inner power. Her purity and integrity are beyond doubt; before them, the forces of nature and the laws of the universe seem to yield.

The entire project—from the original concept and artistic direction to photography and final execution—was developed independently by Ekaterina Desiatova.

The series was published in the NY art magazine Artells Magazine.
