Savage

Savage is an independent photographic project created by Ekaterina Desiatova.

The project was conceived and produced entirely by the artist. Desiatova designed and handcrafted the macramé collection, developed the visual concept, directed the shoot, worked as photographer, and performed as the model herself.

At the heart of Savage project lies an exploration of femininity beyond conventional representations. Rather than associating the feminine solely with softness or vulnerability, the project examines its instinctive, untamed and resilient nature — a strength that exists in harmony with the natural world.

Harsh sunlight, graphic shadows, stone textures and sculptural lines become visual elements that reinforce this dialogue, creating a series of images where the body, the landscape and the handmade objects exist as a single, unified composition.
